The Greek Turkish Youth Orchestra celebrated its 10th anniversary with a magnificent concert tour

8/9 Athens – Zappeion

Rhodes – Crete – Athens

The 2017 tour started on the 30th of August at the Palace of the Grand Master in Rhodes, in the frame of “Music in Rhodes Festival”.
After Rhodes the orchestra traveled to Crete and gave two performances, one in Heraklion and another in Rethymon at the Castle of Fortezza.
The tour continued with concerts in Elefsina (European Cultural Capital 2021) and ended with an outstanding performance at the Zappeion Megaron in Athens.
Throughout all concerts, Turkish cellist Gokce Bahar Oytun performed as guest soloist under the direction of the Greek Conductor Zoe Zeniodi.
